This was a good book and that's from an avid reader. I like how this story has a nice pace and took you through the before, courtship and trying times of their relationship. I loved how Sugar's character was developed. She was not your stereotypical blk woman that is portrayed in most urban fiction today. She was not the daughter of the plug, junky etc... She was very relatable. I like the thought process of Tony's character. Plus the Beta characters were memorable. Overall it was a good story I will definitely read part ² , but I must say the detailing was a little much for me. I like the author to keep a little room for my imagination to move around. I give you 4.7 ⭐ I look forward to the next part.Product details

Author Cato did an excellent job in writing this novel. The character's, places and props were so realistic. This novel will keep you interested with every page and chapter. There are subtle hints of social justice and order weaved into the storyline which almost justifies the lifestyle of the main characters.
If you like Sopranos, Good Fellas, or Casino then you'll enjoy this book. I'm ready to see what happens in Part 2.
This is the first time I've read a book by this author & I must say what a down ass book to read Tony & Genie is ruthless when it comes to a gangstas & being a boss I luv me some Sugar she's down for her man at all cost this is a must read
This is my first time reading anything by this author. The book was well written although, I didn't really get into it until Ms Sugar came into the scene. I loved her attitude!!! I loved her and Tony's relationship and her relationship with her family. I am also a Genie fan. I recommend this book. Now on to part 2.........
Author Cato did an amazing job with this book!! Action packed from start to finish! Gangsta Shyt is a refreshing read and is definitely in a class by itself!! I love Tony and Sugar's relationship!! The story is extremely well written and kept me turning pages until the very end!! Author Cato is definitely making his mark with his first novel, Gangsta Shyt!!!
I like this stories Tony seems to hold thing down, and Sugar is gangster she knows how to hold her man down. And I like how she cleaned up the inside of her organization when they were unloyal. And Genie his partner and Macky Boy they handle their business straight up gangster. I love the way they have that promptness. I would recommend to anyone that
What can I say?? First read by this author and couldn't been happier to read. This author writes so smooth you just go with the flow not missing a beat. Love Tony n Sugar she's one bad boss Tony taught her well. Always gonna be those who deny n betray the one who gave them everything but that didn't stop this show. This is for real some gangsta shyt can't wait to continue to ride. Well done Cato!!
